Here are a few of our previous Bay Area projects.

Client: Oakland Genesis
Project: Brallan's Impact Story
Client Testimonial
"Working with Visual Outlet was an excellent experience from start to finish. Their team communicated clearly throughout the entire process, making everything feel organized, collaborative, and easy to navigate. What stood out most was their creativity and professionalism — they brought strong ideas to the table while also taking the time to understand our organization and mission.
As someone without a background in marketing or video production, I especially appreciated the confidence and expertise they demonstrated at every stage. They made complex decisions feel approachable and guided us through the process in a way that built trust and excitement around the project. The final product captured our work and community in a powerful and authentic way, and we’re excited about the long-term impact it can have for Oakland Genesis."
-Matt Fondy
Executive Director, Oakland Genesis
This video, produced for Oakland Genesis, tells the story of Brallan, a student-athlete who immigrated from Guatemala as a child and found belonging, confidence, and academic support through
the Oakland Genesis community.
With the encouragement of his coaches, tutors, and teammates, Brallan grew from doubting his ability in the classroom to maintaining a 4.0 GPA
for an entire school year.

Client: 18 Reasons
Project: Introducing the Sunnydale Market
This video, produced for 18 Reasons, features the upcoming Sunnydale Community Market and shares the story of how 4 different stakeholders partnered together (18 Reasons, Bi-Rite Markets, Crankstart, and Mercy Housing) to fulfill promises that have been being made to the Sunnydale community for decades.
We chose to anchor the story in the experience and perspective of Pastor Sonya, a long time community member who acutely understands the level of impact this market stands to make on the community.

Client Testimonial
"Working with the Visual Outlet team on the launch of the Sunnydale Market was a truly creative and collaborative experience! They took the time to really listen and understand our mission, and the result was a video that tells our story in a way that's visually engaging and authentic to who we are. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out."
-Brenna Moore
Communications Manager, 18 Reasons

Client: Children Rising
Project: Jordyn's Circle of Care
Client Testimonial
Children Rising hired Visual Outlet to produce a powerful video story. We told the story of Jordyn, a fourth grader in Oakland, and how the support of her tutor, her family, and the people around her — what we call a Circle of Care — helped her rebuild her confidence after a tough stretch of school instability.
From start to finish, Anthony Hudson’s team was extremely prepared, organized, and professional. They approached a sensitive, personal story with real care and talent, and the final video captures exactly what we hoped it would: the impact of consistent, loving support in a child's life. It brought Jordyn’s mother to tears when she first viewed it. That should tell you the impact we made!
Children Rising received tremendous value for the work Visual Outlet delivered. If you're looking for a video partner who can tell a genuine human story with skill and heart, we can't recommend Visual Outlet enough.
-Eric Steckel
Communications Director, Children's Rising
This video, produced for Children Rising, tells the story of a fourth grader at Sankofa Elementary who is growing in confidence and making strong academic progress with the support of her mother, tutors, teachers, and the Children Rising community.
As her mother shares, this Circle of Care has helped Jordyn navigate setbacks, strengthen her reading, and experience the encouragement every child deserves.

Client: Bay Area Creative
Project: Briana's Impact Story
This video, produced for Bay Area Creative, tells the story of Briana, a former student who discovered the power of poetry after a Bay Area Creative teaching artist visited her classroom.
What began as an invitation to join an after-school poetry club grew into years of creative development, performance opportunities, and personal transformation. Today, Briana has returned to some of the same classrooms she once sat in, now serving as a teaching artist and helping the next generation of young people find their voice, tell their stories, and see the power in who they are.

Client Testimonial
"Working with Visual Outlet was an amazing experience. They exist on an intersection of professionalism, talent, and care. It was amazing to see our story captured through the lens of creatives who got to know our org and felt part of the team for a short time.
Our org puts teaching artists in schools, and through strategy and coordination we were able to do a 1 day film shoot. The Visual Outlet team was well coordinated, and through careful planning we were able to shoot several interviews with a teaching artist, and capture parts of a show.
All parts of scheduling, working, and delivery of media went flawlessly. This was not only an amazing team to work with, but also a model to study on how to build partnerships in the community. We look forward to working with Visual Outlet again in the future!"

Executive Director, Bay Area Creative
